What to expect 

At the time of booking an email address will be taken in order for an onboarding form to be sent out to you as the owner. 

Veterinary permission may be obtained to treat the animal prior to the appointment date if the horse is under veterinary care. This may not be necessary for routine maintenance treatments where there are no ongoing issues.

Patient history is obtained and any concerns discussed with the owner.

A full physical examination by palpation is performed while the horse is stood still.

The horse is assessed whilst moving in a straight line with addition of lunging or ridden exercise as well as on different surfaces.

A full treatment is provided which may or may not include electrotherapy or electrophysical therapy

Assessment sheets, aftercare and advice and exercise plans are given with the use of Equicantis programs which are easy to follow.
